Operation and Working

of Our ETP Plants

Our ETP plants work at different processes and stages, including physical, chemical, biological, and membrane processes, to treat wastewater from different industries. It basically consists of three stages: primary, secondary, and tertiary. The effluent water passes through different processes like chemical dosing, aeration and settling. The processed water is filtered and disinfected at the later stages.

The treated water is used for purposes like cleaning and irrigation. What is Effluent Treament Plant?

An Effluent Treatment Plant (ETP) is a wastewater treatment system. These plants treat wastewater for safe disposal and comply with government regulations regarding the disposal of different effluents. They remove the contaminants and impurities from the wastewater, so contaminant-free water is discharged or reused. 

How does Effluent Treatment Plant work?

The Effluent Treatment Plants basically work through three stages: Primary, secondary, and tertiary. The primary stage consists of separating sludge from water through sedimentation tanks. The secondary stage involves removing microorganisms, pollutants and contaminants through biological treatment. The tertiary treatment stage consists of using filtration processes to remove suspended solids from the wastewater. The water is disinfected and reused in the last stage for different purposes. 

What is the Difference between ETP and STP?

While both these plants are used for wastewater, there are major differences between ETPs and STPs. A sewage Treatment Plant (STP) is used to treat human wastewater, while Effluent Treatment Plant (ETP) is used for industrial wastewater.
